Using tealights for your vintage home decor - our New Year refresh!

With the start of a new year, comes an opportunity to refresh your home decor. I've loved our Christmas decorations and the twinkling lights off the tree, but it's time to move on, and I for one get very excited about the chance to wipe the slate clean and give our home a fresh look for January. (I did love my little Christmas scene!)

As the recent cold snap of weather has reminded us though, we are still very much in Winter not Spring! We still have dark evenings, we still need to feel cosy and maybe don't want to go cold turkey on the ambience we enjoyed over Christmas.

Incorporating our tealights into your home decor is a great way to maintain a warm, cosy glow in your home and play around with new styling ideas. At every nook we love repurposing vintage pieces, and appreciate the comfort of having beautiful old things in our homes.

If you've got items such as vintage tea cup saucers, decorative or wine glasses, these are can be given a new lease of life as a tealight holder. For those who enjoy retro homeware we are sure to have many of these mismatched items in our homes, bought because we love the look of them but currently don't have a use. If not they can be picked up for little cost at charity shops or flea markets.
